I am a bit off a nerd for technology and gadgets. Lately I’m most interested in super phones, tablets, ultrabooks and other various mobile permeations – how they are designed, manufactured, their user interfaces (UI) and overall user experience. I’m also interested in various forms of input – from Wacom tablets, specialty mice, voice and handwriting and even neural recognition. The inputs are important to consider as computer use becomes more entwined and necessary in day-to day life. I think the traditional methods are unhealthy from a ergonomic standpoint and can be made more efficient. I’m constantly exploring and tweaking alternatives. Output in the way of “retina” displays, e-ink, 3d printers, haptic feedback etc are also of interest.
